Hospitality Center-- Who We Are

Hospitality Center is an outreach ministry of St. Luke's Episcopal Church which provides service to the homeless and near homeless people of Racine. The Hospitality Center is open to all people without regard to social status, religious, or financial standing. It is truly a place to come and enjoy hospitality without agenda or ulterior motives.

No matter what your reason for stopping in, one thing is guaranteed: you won't leave the same as when you entered." We believe that providing hospitality to those who have nowhere to go may lead us to an encounter with Christ, and that by opening our church doors we increase the chance to allow true holiness to find us.

We invite you to "drop-in" and visit.

Hospitality Without Agenda Since 2011

Guiding Principles

Our role is to welcome all people, regardless of background, identity, or mental health status. this includes those who are intoxicated or otherwise impaired. we provide shelter, food, emotional and spiritual support to those who feel unwanted or unwelcome in other settings.

Conversation, empathy, and understanding guide our decision-making and the way we treat one another.Above all, we are a place of hospitality, which means we are a place of peace.

Community Partners

We extend hospitality through partnerships with many community resources:

  • Hopes Center (case management and street outreach)
  • Racine County Human Services (Workforce Development)
  • ResCare (Employment)
  • Greening Greater Racine (Free transportation to grocery stores)
  • Living Compass (Wellness Support Groups)

"We do this to provide hope, for our future. Everyone has a dream, and I enjoy giving to that dream."
